Escape into the creative mind of Al Branch, a naturally gifted multi-media artist who created portraitures, abstracts, genre art, naturalistic wildlife and fanciful book illustrations.
The exhibit will highlight Branch’s nature-inspired illustrations full of unexpected narrative details. Also on exhibit will be colorful illustrations from Mr. Branch’s unpublished book, Tommy John and the Rainbow Tornado, which is about a young boy who gets swept up by a tornado into a magical world full of rainbow colors and thrilling adventures.
The opening reception for the art exhibition will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. The Historic Eureka School is located at 410 E. Sixth Street.
The Rainbows and Tornadoes: The Mystical World of Branch Exhibit will be open to the public at no cost on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment from June 2nd through August 25th.
